We - George Drossos and Machi Hanna Drossou - are a small family firm and as such we are committed to doing our best for our clients - our reputation depends on it!
Our home is a beautiful verdant island in the North Eastern archipelago of the Sporades. Through our web pages we hope that you will get a taste of the island's many attractions, learn something of its history and its people, and start planning your visit to experience Skopelos first hand.
We are also committed to helping people to understand the customs and traditions of our island home and to this end, we give you a small taste of events on Skopelos as they happen through the year. Check out the section on News. You may find it useful when you are planning your holiday!
Madro Travel Skopelos is also aiming to build up a programme of events and workshops that promote traditional crafts. The first of these offers a short workshop on decorating Easter candles, the second on painting icons. Please look at the section on Special Events for more details and prices. These workshops will provide a unique memento of your stay on Skopelos!
We have been operating on Skopelos since 1979, and specialise in offering a full range of accommodation, with something to suit just about everyone. We also organise and book travel to and from the island and to other destinations in Greece, by hydrofoil, ferry and plane. Our range of services will assist you in every aspect of your holiday.
In addition to our Skopelos programme, we can also offer accommodation on the neighbouring island of Alonissos, which is even more peaceful than Skopelos and has a wonderful coastline with pristine beaches.
Other services that we offer are:
car and boat rental;
a full range of excursions to enable you to explore the island both by land and by sea;
and general tips and suggestions on how to make the most of a holiday on this beautiful Aegean island.
Finally, we offer a full wedding service, either through our packages detailed elsewhere on our site, or as a tailor-made experience. And if you would like to commemorate a special anniversary, we can arrange a vow renewal for you.
We look forward to seeing you on Skopelos. Please visit us at our office on the Old Port on Skopelos town waterfront. We are open every day from May until October.
