People who are not of the Orthodox religion cannot be married in an Orthodox church. However, there are many beautiful sites on Skopelos and we have chosen several for which we offer civil wedding packages.
PLEASE NOTE: A civil wedding ceremony in Greece is very short - about 10 minutes in duration. Madro Travel are the only company to offer as part of the package, an additional ceremony of commemoration.
This ceremony follows (in short) the format of a traditional Greek Church Wedding, translated into English and including vows, wedding crowns and drinking from the common cup - essential components of the real Greek experience. It is this element that has so enriched the civil weddings we have organised for our clients. Madro Travel lend the essential wedding crowns, silver cup etc and provide orders of service and traditional kouffetas for you and your guests.
No other company on Skopelos provide this service.
